The bag itself was not a trick and it didn't contain a trick. Getting the bag, that was the trick.
The Prize was what the bag held. Lily Bean liked to see how many times a day she could be in possession of the Prize.
Lily Bean knew how the system worked. She had been tracking the movements of the Prize Givers and was confident she knew what they were thinking. When the Prize Givers started towards the ledge she would approach with the utmost stealth and gather a most convincing visage. The ledge held the bag, the bag held the Prize.
The table sat beside the ledge and was a perfect place to sit and look cute. Lily Bean knew that if she sat on that table near the ledge and looked cute and cuddly, the Prize Givers would graciously award her cute and cuddliness. After all, she deserved the Prize.
The greatest trick was being able to convince a Prize Giver that she hadn't already been gifted with the Prize that day. This was an accomplishment that Lily Bean had been working on since the first day she had been given the Prize by a Prize Giver.
Today, Lily Bean was going to take a completely different path. Instead of the Prize being a small amount just once that day, she was going to convince the Prize Giver to leave the bag on the table beside the ledge. Her best trick yet.
