As I grow older I find myself often referring back to the good ol times when we used to sit around on a lazy Saturday afternoon and watch Disney movies like we had no lives. Those days just may have been the greatest days ever. If it weren't for Disney movies where would be get all those inspiring, catchy songs to sing at ones own enjoyment no matter the time of day or location of oneself. How would we have spent our days? Where would our lives be now?
Not but two hours ago on my rather fine free Tuesday, I relived those childhood days by watching Pocahontas. If you haven't ever watched it, now would be the time...We can wait.
Just kidding, we won't wait. But you really should watch it at some point in your life.
Although historically inaccurate at some points, it has a very meaningful lesson. I won't go into detail about said lesson, I think you should all take the time to watch the movie and figure out what they're really trying to tell you on your own.
When you finish with Pocahontas and you realize that there are so many more Disney movies that your childhood was not wasted on, then it is time to be true to yourself and watch them. Preferably today or tomorrow, but no later.
The following is an excerpt from 642 Things to Write About.
What a character holding a blue object is thinking right now
"But is it really edible? I mean, I know they say blue cheese is really good to eat but is it safe? Just sit for a second and think about this. Blue cheese is moldy cheese. You eat blue cheese, you're eating mold."
See you next week, this is t-bear signing off
