As was promised to us by a valued McDonald's employee, the Smartie McFlurry has returned. When did it leave you may ask? A long time ago. It's return is far overdue.
There are many points that tell us that McD's made a poor choice when they discontinued sales of the said Smartie McFlurry:
1. Smartie's are in fact a Canadian invention, therefore, they should be a constant item on the menu.
2. One may make a point that they don't matter since so many people didn't realize they had been gone in the first place, but this is so extremely incorrect. The reason people are so confused as to why the Smartie McFlurry's were gone is because they can't believe that a corporation as established as McD's would ever think of removing such a commonly requested dessert item from their restaurants.
3. On more than one occasion I have had to comfort my Mother as she wistfully retired to her Lay-Z-Boy early without being able to complete her work from such distress.
As you can tell from the points laid out above, the Smartie McFlurry is a cherished piece of dessert that should never be denied from a human being in need of a little deliciously nutritious snack.
In other news, today I finally received the package of books that I ordered way back in July (I think). I ordered two books from Chapters. One would have come earlier but the other was pre-ordered and for some reason I can not figure out how to get them to deliver books as they become available instead of when the last one does.
The two books that I received are Allegiant by Veronica Roth and Pretties by Scott Westerfeld. They are both sci-fi and will be added to my very full bookshelf at my earliest convenience. I am happy to note that I am still waiting on the fifth of A Song of Ice and Fire which will be shipped sometime near it's release date of November 11, 2013. I know you are probably confused because that book came out months ago but I don't think you realized that that was the hardcover version and this will be the trade paperback version. There's a difference.
Go to McD's, this is t-bear signing off
