Movin In

Dearest friends who care enough to take the time to read my blog,
Today I did something different from every other day that I've lived. I moved out!! Now some of you are probably thinking that means into an apartment or an abode of my own but that is not the case. I am currently residing in residence which is just one step closer to that fully moved out feeling.
I was scheduled to move in from 11am-1pm today so we left home at 7 and arrived around 10:45ish. With much time to spare, we started unpacking the van and moving things up. Let me tell ya folks, the view from the 4th floor is one filled with trees, vehicles and more trees. It's beautiful!!! I can't say that I've ever felt more at home in my life! Well, except for at home.
When I first got into the room with Ma and Pa I started to arrange the furniture to my preferred placement. That bed being turned against the way was the best decision I've made all day (besides the club sandwich for lunch). The amount of space left over after the rotation of the sleeping quarters is so fantastic, and a bonus is, there's so much more room for activities!!
It took me longer to unpack my boxes and settle everything in my room than it took my roomie. She was done almost before I started. However, I'm pretty sure I'm a little OCD and things need places. Not just "look at that nice piece of floor, I think I'll just drop that right there." No, that is no way to create a living space for a study infested, sleep deprived, college student. My room is organized and if anyone has a problem with that then they shouldn't come over.
At first my attitude was, "I'll just be a loner and never make any friends". Now, I'm going to a meet and greet and a rez meeting thang which are both supposed to help me make "long and lasting friendships". I'll believe it when I see it. I am open to new friends though, don't think I despise newbies for I am one.
From your newest college student, this is t-bear signing off
